London’s electronic temple unveiled the lineup for the AW22 program, which will run from 23rd September to 17th December. Printworks brings 19 shows to Surrey Quays for its closing season, featuring everything from live debuts to old-school legends.

The 6,000-capacity venue will be home to some jaw-dropping acts from the electronic realm.

Charlotte de Witte will make a comeback at Printworks after her sold-out show last April and DJ Snake will kick start the opening night.

Sets from Shygirl, Scorpion Kings, Gorgon City and DJ Seinfield are part of Printworks closing season highlights.

While the October and November program showcases events like 30 Years of RAM Records, Dixon presents Transmoderna and La Discothéque’s sixth birthday, only four shows were announced for December.

Some Printworks closing events are still TBA.

Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, told Mixmag how the upcoming program will cover many more music spectrums.

“From electronic, techno, hip hop, disco, afrobeats and much more, accompanied by the peerless sound and lighting production and audience experience that the community has come to expect from this legendary and celebrated space.”

In July, Southwark Council gave the green light for a Canada Water renovation plan, which will see Printworks turn into offices.

As Printworks’ closing date approaches, London Night Czar Amy Lamé told Mixmag that “not all is lost” and “active discussions are taking place about the possibility of keeping a significant venue as part of Printworks.”

The former printing factory ranks amongst London’s most sought-after clubbing destinations. Over the years, Printworks gained the status of an electronic mecca, hosting enviable acts like Peggy Goy, Bicep and Ben UFO.
