Loop and Tomorrowland Launch Limited-Edition Earplugs

Earplug brand Loop has joined forces with Tomorrowland Festival to promote hearing protection in a fashionable way. The Belgian duo launched Loop x Tomorrowland, a collection of limited-edition earplugs designed to blend functionality with style. 

High-fidelity and available in two colors – Obsidian Ink and Gold Leaf – the hearing protectors feature Tomorrowland’s “Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever” motto. They are designed to lower noise levels while preserving sound quality and ensuring comfort for long-wearing periods. 

The limited-edition earplugs are a bold departure from typical ear protection devices. Instead of using traditional invisible designs, these accessories are deliberately noticeable, blending in seamlessly with festival fashion.

The launch follows a worrying study conducted by Loop, revealing half of festival-goers experience tinnitus after attending music events. A shocking 45% believed this is a normal reaction and only 7% said they consistently wear hearing protection. 

Belgium-based audiologist Karen Stalpaert said that while loud music can create a sense of belonging, it is not without risks. She stresses the importance of hearing protection, emphasizing that “the music you experience after hearing damage is never the same as before.” 

By collaborating with Tomorrowland, one of the biggest names in the international dance festival scene, Loop Earplugs aims to leverage the event’s wide reach to educate young adults about the importance of hearing protection.
