Festival mammoth Lollapalooza will land in India next year, marking the event’s debut in Asia.
Taking over Mumbai grounds, the two-day music festival will take place between the 28th and 29th of January 2023. The freshest member of the Lollapalooza family is promoted and co-produced with Indian ticketing platform BookMyShow.
Iconic rock bands such as Imagine Dragons and The Strokes have been announced as headliners for its India edition. Other major league artists such as progressive rock group Greta Van Fleet, deep house hero Zhu, and indie band Cigarettes After Sex are scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza India.
As a touring festival, this is not Lollapalooza’s first step on foreign grounds. Over the years, the Chicago-based music giant expanded its tentacles to seven locations and three continents. Past editions include culturally-rich countries such as Chile, Brazil, Germany, France, and Sweden.
