London’s techno institution Fabric celebrates its 23-year run with a much-awaited milestone – a music festival.
Taking place on July 8th and 9th next summer, EXODUS carries the clubbing institution’s ethos beyond the Farrington walls. In true Fabric nature, the festival creation debut will take over an “undisclosed outdoor location” outside London, according to social media posts.
Although there is no word yet about early lineup names, press materials disclose that it will merge Fabric’s past, present, and future artists. This new rave world will be curated by the same team who runs Fabric London and its two labels.
Co-founder Cameron Leslie said that it is time for the techno powerhouse to spread its wings toward new horizons.
“After nearly a quarter of a century celebrating and enjoying nightlife in our London home, we’re taking fabric outside of the EC1 basement with a new outdoor summer gathering which mirrors our ethos and the music we love.”
Since Fabric is a pro at curating and creating non-stop celebrations, the electronic hotspot will launch its 23rd anniversary series with a 30-hour beat-fueled rally with Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Tennis, and VTSS this weekend.
