EDC Las Vegas unveiled its much-awaited lineup for 2023. Although this edition will celebrate Insomniac Events’ 30th anniversary, electro-heads weren’t impressed by its deeply-stacked music program.

With over 200 DJs, EDC Las Vegas’ lineup features everything from EDM stars like Martin Garrix and Armin Van Burren to B2B sets from Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH.

But a quick look at the comments section will reveal a fanbase describing the lineup as “trash” and “mid.”

Most music fans point out that given Insomniac’s milestone, bigger artist names should have been added.

Unlike in prior years, EDC Las Vegas overused artist names. Marshmello will have a solo performance on Friday but will come back on Sunday with a B2B set.

Some users compared EDC to Miami’s Ultra, saying the latter won the lineup game this year. “Lineup is mid. Lots of repeats. No alesso, no hardwell, no Calvin Harris. Marshmello twice,” one fan said.

Another music fan said he booked his EDC passes “just because it was 30 year celebration and figured insomniac will bring out all the best.”

For its 2023 edition, EDC Las Vegas will unfold in tandem with Hotel EDC, a first-of-its-kind hotel experience. The venture will transform Resorts World’s Hilton Hotel into a rave wonderland with pop-up DJ sets, official Insomniac shops, and wellness sessions.

The electronic mammoth will take place between May 19th and May 21st.
