Virtual reality platform Decentraland returns with a second edition for its lusted-after giant, Metaverse Music Festival. The four-day celebration invites tech-savvy festies to immerse in a metaverse experience from the 10th to 13th of November.
Although the official lineup is yet to be announced, festival organizers tweeted that it will be “a weekend to remember.” Last year saw Metaverse the Music Festival host some blue-blooded Web3 artists on its digital playground, including Deadmau5, Alison Wonderland, and Paris Hilton.
With over 80 artists and 50,000 attendees, the Decentraland music celebration was labeled as one of the most extensive metaverse experiences.
Metaverse Music Festival’s first edition went beyond the music performances by delivering other experiences, such as giveaways, 3D fashion, and POAPs (digital mementos).
This year’s edition is expected to be bigger and bolder, as Decentraland brought in new upgrades and innovations.
To attend the music event, you don’t need tickets or professional equipment, such as VRs and headsets.
Festival-goers must pre-register for the event on a dedicated website and own a crypto wallet. Users who log into Decentraland build their own virtual avatars to access the Web3 world and its social experiences.
In this open metaverse, individuals can buy, build, and sell digital acquisitions such as artwork and NFTs. At the moment, the virtual experience is available only on desktop devices.
