The Fosfen Festival, which was supposed to be held at Laswa Heritage in Bandung, was postponed last minute.
Organizers took to social media to announce to ticket-holders that the show won’t go on for the music festival a day before its kick-off. Although Fosfen Festival’s management didn’t quote any reason for the abrupt cancellation, it is speculated that the absence of a license was the main reason behind the postponement.
Besides apologizing for the sudden call-off, the social media statement continued by saying that the Bandung festival will resume its mission in January.
“We as the organizers of the FOSFEN MUSIC FESTIVAL event, hereby express our deepest apologies for not holding this event at the stipulated time, caused by one thing and another.”
Festival-goers were provided with a website to request refunds for their tickets.
This is not the first time the new-generation music festival has postponed its dates. Initially slated for August at indoor concert hall Eldorado, Fosfen Festival canceled its dates back in the summer, promising it will come back roaring in November.
