Affection is an electronic music festival that features only harder styles.

Affection has a capacity for 5,000 people, placing it on a more intimate side of festivals. Despite its small size, the festival has never stopped from attracting the likes of Darren Styles, Chaotic Hostility, Galactixx and many more.

Affection Festival’s organisers have created multiple other events in the past

Affection is an outdoor festival that took place for the first time in 2019. Although the electronic event is a rookie in the festival scene, its founders shaped the indoor music scene in Germany.

Some of the events organized previously include Easter Rave, Pumpkin and Solution Germany.

With dozens of electronic heroes taking over the audio decks, a jaw-dropping stage design and constant commitment to bring the best sounds, Affection never went back to its mere twinkle status.

Each stage at Affection Festival corresponds to a genre of electronic music

There were a total of three stages at the 2019 edition of Affection. Every stage played different music genres, so you don’t have to find your way if you are looking to listen to just the one genre.

The Hardcore and Rawstyle stages hosted artists from each respective genre. The main stage had witnessed the biggest names in hardstyle, hardcore, and rawstyle, showing attendees were the money is at.

The festival saw more than 70 artists perform

Despite its newcomer status, Affection attracted dozens of electronic giants to its stages, totalling to more than 70 artists. 

While the German festival wasn’t Tomorrowland enough to bring Martin Garrix, some of the musicians that set the stage on fire along the years include Brennan Heart, Angerfist, Digital Punk, The Prophet and Headhunterz among others.

Affection really puts on a show for its audience

Music was not all to see at Affection, as festival-goers were met with visuals that were absolutely stunning.

With over 18 flame projectors, 500 lamps, a fireworks display and a laser show, there is always something to look forward to at this festival.

Let’s not forget the half a ton of confetti Affection had prepared to make sure the ecstatic mood of guests was always matched.

There is no such thing as an early check-out at Affection

The organizers of Affection wanted to keep people engaged and stay till the end, and so they had to think ahead. The festival ran for two days on a Friday and Saturday, but guests were more than welcome to stay at the campsite from Thursday to Sunday.

There were also many facilities near the campsite that enticed festival-goers into staying for a longer time such as a supermarket, a swimming pool, and a football field to toss a ball around.
