The Saloon is one of the city’s oldest LGBT+ clubs featuring lively parties and eclectic entertainment.
The club, founded in 1977, is in Downtown West, a hub with theaters and entertainment venues in central Minneapolis.
Spanning four rooms with different themes, the LGBT+ nightclub features a cozy dance floor and stage with a shower, an intimate video lounge, a dining area, and a traditional dive bar. Its interior showcases wooden floors, brick walls, and dangling disco balls creating rustic ‘70s vibes.
The Saloon distinguishes itself with its steamy-themed events. It hosts drag shows, burlesque numbers, karaoke nights, and shower contests. DJs like Joe Gautreaux spin the latest EDM, techno, house, and pop beats.
Serving the Twin Cities LGBT+ community for more than 40 years, The Saloon is usually packed with leather-wearing and friendly party-goers.
The Saloon is the place to go if you want to leave your shyness at the door for insanely wild nights.
