As one of the oldest clubs in Sofia, Stroeja is a rock music haven that’s anything but mainstream.
Established in 1997, Stroeja is located in Sofia Center, a district with the most foot traffic in the city. This comes as no surprise as the area center is the go-to place for tourists, international globetrotters and European jet sets.
With its retro and industrial appearance, Stroeja is true to its namesake, which translates as “construction site.” The club features exposed brick walls, concrete ceilings, and metal accents around its intimate, underground dance floor.
