DJ Rohen Wong co-founded the Sound Department club in 2019. Housed on the ground floor of Mahalon Center, Sound Department is in Central Hong Kong. The area is known for its luxury hotels, upscale malls, and vibrant nightlife.
With its all-black interior, the laser light shows create a dizzying array of patterns and pulsate to the beat of the music.
Sound Department’s music selection is alternative and obscure, spotlighting up-and-coming artists and experimental hip-hop and electronic sounds. Worry not; pop is also given the limelight.
