Roxy is one of the city’s most popular nightlife destinations, hosting world-class concerts, wild dance parties, as well as sponsored events.
Roxy has a long history of serving as a venue for multiple purposes over the decades. It was established as a basement club in 1992 by Linhart Foundation, in what was a stylish American-style cinema with a smoking lounge, dating back to 1927. It is located in Old Town, a chipper neighborhood in northwest Prague. Roxy is a multifaceted place that serves as several entertainment venues in one.
This club has been a major attraction for both local and international eclectic crowds in their 20s, thanks to the beautiful combination of several electronic music styles including house, techno, and drum and bass hosted by world-renowned stars.
Concerts are the strongest feature of Roxy. The club features a section dedicated to bold and off-beat theater, mind-blowing dance performances, unique art exhibitions, audiovisual events, as well as a café.
