Part of an entertainment complex, Rick’s club is not your ordinary night out – it’s an experience.
Rick’s opened in 1984 as Rick’s Downstairs, a karaoke venue. Soon, Rick’s Upstairs opened, and the hub became a full-blown nightclub. Rick’s is lodged in the Key West Historic District northwest of the city.
The nightclub is one of eight venues making up an entertainment complex, including Durty Harry’s, a live music venue, and The Red Garter Saloon, a strip club.
Rick’s is a white two-story building with a pirate mural on the side and neon signs calling you to its door. The interior has many picture frames, wooden tables and chairs, and a cozy balcony on the second floor.
Key West’s club holds an annual ‘luv2glow’ party celebrating Fantasy Fest, where you can unleash your wild side and paint yourself in glow-in-the-dark colors. Rick’s’ DJs aren’t loyal to one genre, spinning all the hits that will get you grooving with some Spanish music mixed in.
The club has fun-loving locals wandering through its doors. You can dress in whatever makes you feel confident and hit Rick’s for unparalleled dance sessions.
With Rick’s’s out-of-this-world light shows and pumping music, you have no choice but to let loose and spend unforgettable nights.
