Limelight is where you can find great electronic hits and spectacular live music sessions.
Limelight opened in central Belfast’s urban area of Ormeau Avenue in 1984. The building is an example of classic British architecture, decorated with a wooden door and posters of the upcoming musicians the club hosts.
This venue hosts five spaces that allow guests to move freely, including Limelight 1, Limelight 2, Katy’s Bar, The Rock Garden, and The Little Rock. The club boasts state-of-the-art sounds and visuals.
Although a live music venue, Limelight hosts weekly club nights dedicated to different music genres. Each night presents guests with their favorite pop guilty pleasures, hip-hop tunes, and 80s mixes for young and old music enthusiasts.
As one of the more prominent names in Belfast nightlife, Limelight has hosted well-renowned DJs and rock bands such as Steve Aoki, Arctic Monkeys, and Dillinger Escape Plan.
With star-studded lineups gracing the stage of Limelight’s large venue, it has cemented itself as a prominent destination for the city’s music and nightlife scene.
