La Boom is a buzzing hotspot famed for its focus on live Latin music performances and DJ sets.
It is located in the predominantly Hispanic neighborhood of Huntington Park in southeastern Los Angeles. Fuelled by founder Temi Temple’s desire of bringing independent artists to the forefront of the music industry, La Boom was established in 2013.
Loyal to its Latin roots, La Boom nightclub plays salsa, merengue, bachata, Latin pop, Spanish rock, and cumbia. Not only does the venue play Latin, but also a mix of hip-hop, mainstream pop, and reggaeton.
La Boom features three dance floors so there’s plenty of room for everyone to dance. A quick look at the crowds and you will discover that people of all ages and social statuses flock to the dance floor.
