Making history in the electronic realm, Kompass took over an old factory and turned it into a music temple.
The underground nightclub first opened in 2016, finding its home inside an old warehouse in an industrial park south of Ghent. In 2021, Kompass packed its bags and left for a factory near Dok Noord, north of the city’s center.
The building, as big as twenty football pitches and featuring a grungy interior, left the manufacturing world to play host to Kompass’ electrifying parties.
Kompass speaks one language – everything that’s soaked in electronic beats. From trance and acid to techno, it’s loud and crisp sound and will get you tuned in all night long.
International acts are more than just a one-time thing in this underground gem. DJs like the German duo Pan-Pot, Russian queen Nina Kraviz, and the English powerhouse Rebekah Teasdale have all shaken the club’s walls.
The world-famous line-ups bring electronic music lovers from around the world to Kompass’ dungeon-like dance floor. Draw a cat eye sharp enough to kill a man and wear your comfiest shoes – you’ll be dancing with the city’s party animals.
Forget about time, as Kompass is ready to bring the house down with its unmatched beats.
