Doboz is a large ruin pub with a beautiful courtyard that wraps around an ancient tree.
Established in 2011, Doboz is in the Erzsébetváros district east of central Budapest. The area is known for its rich Jewish history, eclectic design shops, and ‘ruin pubs.’
Doboz features two dance floors and an outdoor courtyard space, boasting a rotation of talented resident DJs. The main dance floor showcases the latest pop and Latin hits, while the other plays mainly hip-hop.
Doboz is not just a nightclub but also a space where Hungarian artists can showcase their creative artwork. The courtyard features a massive King Kong art installation hanging off a large old tree.
From locals to tourists, the club is a mandatory stop-over for clubbers of all types, with the music making the crowd thump to a common rhythm.
Thanks to its beautiful historic building, art-filled space, and masterful DJ sets, the large ruin Doboz nightclub is more than a simple night out, it’s an experience.
