Cruz 101 is one of the longest-running gay clubs in the city.
Since its opening in 1992, this nightclub has been wowing the crowds in central Manchester’s Gay Village. The club is in an old warehouse with an intimate vibe. Spanning two floors, the club hosts its main events, such as theme nights and big bashes for Christmas and New Year, on the top level. This level also has more disco lights and bars. The lower floor, known as Sub 101, is smaller and has only one bar.
Cruz 101 attracts a diverse crowd, with a predominantly LGBT+ audience frequenting its events. Open five nights a week, the club plays a mix of disco, funky house, pop, trance, and R&B.
Cruz 101 has remained a top choice for Manchester’s LGBT+ community for almost 30 years. It regularly brings some of the most famous drag queens to its stages, alongside a schedule of many more entertaining live shows.
