Cherry Club doesn’t follow the herd – instead, it shapes its own version of partying.
The party hub opened its doors to Adelaide’s party animals in 2023. Taking over a central area, Cherry Club is nestled inside Plaza Hotel’s walls in the city’s CBD. Known as Adelaide’s heart for shopping avenues, Indigenous art, and large-scale music events, the district is Adelaide’s most happening area.
Like any self-respecting club that seeks diversity, Cherry spans two levels. While the ground floor has a basement allure and a soft spot for R&B tunes, the top level is designed for chill lounge sounds and crafted cocktails.
When designing the space, the club’s owner had Y2K MTV with a modern twist aesthetics in mind. A mix of red brick walls and wooden elements adorn the walls, while a neon-lit cherry sign safeguards the dance floor. A mezzanine level overlooks the venue, while shiny disco balls create dotted patterns around the ceiling.
The Adelaide club is loyal to no music genre. That’s why a mix of commercial tunes, club anthems, and upbeat R&B blasts through the venue’s speakers every weekend.
Thanks to its modern appeal, Cherry Club attracts a young crowd of party-goers looking to blow off some steam.
