Cat Club is a historical nightlife spot in San Francisco’s clubbing scene.

The club began as Cat’s Grill and Alley in 1993 before reopening as Cat Club in 1998. This buzzing nightlife hotspot is in the trendy SoMa neighborhood east of San Francisco. The area is known for its vibrant nightlife, upscale restaurants, and art museums.

Cat Club boasts an elaborate playground of two dance floors, two bars, an outdoor smoking area, a VIP lounge area, and a go-go cage.

Clubbers can hear a broad range of music from its speakers, including hip-hop, electronic, pop, disco, new wave, and Gothic rock. Cat Club is famous for its themed nights, like its Bondage A Go-Go and 80s-themed parties.

From locals to tourists, the club is a mandatory stop-over for clubbers of all interests, with the music making the crowd move to a familiar rhythm.

After almost three decades of being on the scene, it is no surprise that Cat Club is popular among clubbers inside and outside San Francisco.
