Birdcage embraces the underground spirit of clubbing in Hanoi.
The alternative nightclub opened in 2016 with a mission to bring the city’s non-mainstream music scene to the forefront. It is nestled in north Hanoi’s Quang An, a primarily residential area with a few bars.
With a birdcage for a DJ booth, the club earns its name fair and square with its tropical decor and quirky setup. The accommodating club spans two rooms, The Main Room and The Back Room, each playing a specific genre.
Alongside its modular spaces, Birdcage dons an outdoor terrace for much-needed breaks.
Since Birdcage is dedicated to premium beats, its setlists are a groovy blend of funk, retro-pop, hip-hop, disco, house, drum and bass, and techno jams. With up-and-coming international and local DJs spinning the decks, you’re bound to upgrade your playlist.
A laid-back, friendly, and young crowd frequents the nightclub, so you can freely dress to express and join the madness.
