Experience an unforgettable evening of top-notch entertainment at Spirito Brussels, a timeless venue that will leave you captivated.
Adorned with crystal and gold decorations that emit an atmosphere of grandeur, this nightclub features a spacious dance floor along with three well-stocked bars for guests to enjoy.
Step into Spirito Brussels, the ultimate party hub where the dance floor never rests, pumping out your favorite pop-house and techno beats courtesy of an all-female DJ lineup.
The music temple always has something to get you grooving.
Since international icons like Drake and Rihanna have made appearances at this nightclub, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to groove at Spirito Brussels. Here is everything you need to know about Spirito Brussels.
Spirito Brussels was once known as the Church of Resurrection, a historical landmark founded two centuries ago by the descendants of Evan Jenkins, the first Anglican preacher in Brussels.
Although the church was desacralised in the 1950s, it wasn’t put to any use until 2009, when Spirito Brussels first opened its doors for pleasure-seeking revelers.
Entrepreneur Francesco Ravo gave the former church a second life as a glitzy nightclub when he purchased the building.
Following a major revampment, the former church transformed into a two-story party mecca that lives and breathes ineffable beats.
Fast forward to today, Spirito is one of Brussels’ top nightlife picks thanks to its constant commitment to delivering the ‘it’ clubbing experience.
Just like most lusted-after clubbing destinations, Spirito is located in the heart of Comic City. Finding shelter in the posh neighbourhood of Ixelles, the Brussels nightclub is well-connected to the whole capital.
But that doesn’t mean you should wander around the city if you already are in Ixelles. Brimming with art nouveau buildings, impromptu jazz concerts and shopping streets, Ixelles oozes a bonky bohemian vibe.
It is dubbed one of Brussels’ ritzy neighborhoods, attracting a crowd of tourists willing to explore the city’s cultural heritage.
Whether it’s a private party, clubbing session, or corporate event, Spirito Brussels can accommodate up to 650 people. You might think the capacity is a bit generous for a former church – but Spirito is not an average venue.
With modular spaces, high ceilings, three bars, and robust VIP areas spanning across two floors, Spirito strikes a balance between intimate partying and a decent-sized clubbing community.
But Spirito’s allure is fuelled by the flabbergasting architecture which speaks of a bygone era through chandeliers and triumphal arches. The nightclub’s designers kept a good chunk of the former church’s blueprint in an effort to preserve the venue’s heritage.
As a venue where modern glamorous meets gothic extravaganza, the Brussels nightclub imbued the venue with modern elements.
Furniture upholstered in veloute, tinted glass balustrades and gold-soaked decor accents create an upscale clubbing ambiance where LED screens, confetti cannons and a BVBA soundsystem reign supreme.
As soon as you step into the Brussels nightclub, your ears will witness an uber-diverse music repertoire. That’s because every clubbing devotee has a special go-to music playlist – and Spirito knows that too well.
With a music repertoire ranging from bullet-hard techno to bumpy pop-house beats, this party temple has something for everybody.
Since its inception, Spirito Brussels has played host to a wide array of notable DJs. Livia Andrei, Dennis Cartier and Cyano are just some of the names that graced the venue with their spinning skills.
Some notable events include La Luna, a monthly club night that brings the finest selection of all things techno music, accompanied by RGB lights and killer crowds. You can also opt for the HER event, which features an all-female line-up spinning house-techno hits and throbbing dance beats.
During the mighty weekend, Spirito embodies Brussels’ most sought-after clubbing destination. But if you find yourself in the former Anglican church during weekdays, you are in for a high-end gastronomical experience.
Sheltered in between gothic arches and Murano chandeliers, the Santo Spirito restaurant is all about Italian cuisine.
With fusion dishes, French wines, and flutes of champagne, this ritzy restaurant should be on top of your list if you are a fine cuisine devotee.
If you want to get a taste of the VIP treatment, be prepared for some astronomical prices. Although prices for individual drinks don’t differ much from other European superclubs, VIP packages start from €750.
If you want to relish in what Spirito Brussels has to offer, you have to pass the dress code test with flying colors. A little black dress and a collared shirt never hurt anybody – but they will grant you entrance at Spirito.
Brussels citizens know too well that the city’s most lusted-after events are Brussels Summer Festival and Spirito’s infamous Halloween party.
The nightclub’s seasonal event is not your average Halloween house party – on the contrary.
With aerial dancers, jaw-dropping costumes, fire breathers and a state-of-the-art creative direction, Spirito goes the extra mile to deliver the spooky spirit.
Previous Halloween events have seen quirky-meets-scary themes – that sometimes take inspiration from iconic horror movies – monopolize the venue’s decor.
Spirito’s Halloween Underground Nightmare and Halloween the Nun events proved to be a roaring success. Should we also mention that at every spooky party, Spirito’s staff all deck out in nun costumes to fit the nightclub’s former church vibe?
There’s something about a secularly-revived church that excites anyone and everyone. A truly swank nightlife experience, Spirito embodies two distinct themes and merges them seamlessly – a Roman temple and an Anglican church.
Architectural mastery, baroque furniture, glass deco elements and an intricate design – it is not hard to see why Brussels’ Spirito is considered one of the most jaw-dropping clubbing destinations.
The Edge TV, a television channel that explores the limitless potential of innovation, ranked the Brussels nightlife hub as the most beautiful nightclub in the world.
As one of Brussels’ most lusted-after nightlife temples, Spirito is pretty much everything you wanted from your next clubbing experience – and maybe even more than that.
