Born out of a fusion between a Mexican cantina and a modern bar, Abolengo is a clubbing experience under the stars in Playa del Carmen.
Founded in 2014, Abolengo is on 12th avenue in Playa del Carmen’s Gonzalo Guerrero. As part of the city’s downtown area, the lively district is the nightlife epicenter, with clubs around every corner.

Loyal to its roots, the club pays homage to Latin culture with traditional paintings hung on the walls and elements of South American architecture. The modern touch is palpable thanks to the neon signs, textured walls and quirky lamps.
