Standing for Your Urban Club of Arts, YUCA is a music temple in a railway station.
Established in 2015, YUCA is in Ehrenfeld, northwest Cologne, a trendy multicultural area known for its colorful murals, coffee roasteries, and unique clothing stores.
The venue is next to the Ehrenfeld train station, run by the same owners of the neighboring Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld. The two clubs occasionally host shared events.
YUCA’s interior features an intimate, encaved dance floor. Neon lights illuminate the exposed brick, adding a legit industrial touch.
Since YUCA is one of the torchbearers of Cologne’s alternative urban music scene, it is no surprise that the club boasts a wide range of genres, including hip-hop, funk, soul, reggae, blues, jazz, and electronic.
While it focuses on indie music, YUCA has hosted big names like Major Lazer, Gryffin, GoGo Penguin, Skip & Die, and Portico Quartet. Young, alternative music lovers flock to YUCA for its eclectic lineups.
YUCA is renowned for its exciting afterparties, aesthetic, and broad selection of alternative music.
