From the elaborate decor and tasty Cuban cuisine to the dancers with feathery costumes dancing to Latin beats, Cuba Libre will sweep you off your feet and take you straight to Havana.
The club opened in 2004, based inside the Tropicana Hotel Atlantic City in Boardwalk, southwest of the city. A classic convertible painted with the Cuban flag and a horse statue standing tall and proud set the scene at the bar / club’s doors.
Cuba Libre is a two-storied Cuban-inspired courtyard with a Talavera-patterned bar, candelabrum chandeliers, arches, and pillars, adding grandeur.
The club works to raise awareness and funds for the island’s residents, staying true to its name, ‘free Cuba.’
The club / bar features a top-tier selection of Latin beats, from salsa and merengue to bachata and reggaeton, mixed up with top hits.
Besides jamming to Cuba Libre’s eclectic music, the authentic dishes, prepared by two-time James Beard award-winning Chef Guillermo Pernot, and the dancers, with their carnival makeup and colorful costumes, will stimulate all your senses.
