In a world where clubs are a universal language, one country stands tall above the rest – the UK. According to a DJ Tech Reviews report, iconic venues like Printworks and The Warehouse Project’s The Depot overshadow nightlife meccas from Ibiza and Berlin.

To determine the venues’ overall ranking, the report tallied up popularity across TikTok hashtags, Instagram followers and Google reviews. “Each venue was then given a normalized score out of ten for each of these factors before an average of these scores was taken,” the report reads.

Manchester’s Warehouse Project is clubland’s king, with an overall score of 8.31 out of 10, 81.8 million TikTok views and over 250k Instagram followers.

Despite confirming its permanent closure in May, London’s Printworks also secured a top position. With a score of 8.27 and a 128% Google search increase in 2019, the electronic temple ranked as the world’s second-best club.

Although Ibiza’s Ushuaia has the most Instagram followers and TikTok views, the party hub sits just below the two UK clubs.

The report further unveils fruitful data with a top ten ranking. Illustrious names such as Berghain Berlin, Club Space Miami, and Pacha Ibiza are all part of the picture. However, UK nightclubs occupy the leading positions.

Elsewhere on the report, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, USA was recognized as the world’s best-rated venue. California’s Hollywood Bowl also bagged the title for the most searched music venue.

Other stats:

  • Omnia Las Vegas is the most popular club on Instagram, with over one million tags.
  • The best-reviewed club title belongs to Brazil’s Laroc, which scored 4.8 out of 5 on Google.
  • Ushuaia experienced a search increase of over 400% in the last four years.
