EXIT Festival will become the first one of its size to issue NFT tickets. Through its partnership with ticketing platform NFT-TiX, the Serbian music event will give festival-goers an all-inclusive experience during its 2023 edition.

Beyond introducing a new market for ticket buyers, the link-up will enable EXIT’s promoters to offer festival-related event series. In addition to the regular NFT tickets, ten “never seen before” ultra VIP tickets will be up for grabs.

For €10,000, music fans will receive a superstar treatment, which includes meets & greets with the artists. Ticket holders will get access to VIP GOLD zones and lounges, onstage tickets at the Dance Arena, and luxury accommodation.

In a statement, festival organizers described their collab with NFT-TiX as “a leading example of the innovative solutions the ticketing industry needs to meet the demands of today’s eventgoers.”

EXIT jumped on the NFT bandwagon and became the first festival – along with Coachella – to use blockchain technology for ticketing. The innovative venture was crowned with success and won the UK Festival Innovation Award last year.

According to Pollstar, some of the NFT ticketing revenues will go to humanitarian causes, with more information coming in the following months.

EXIT Festival will take place from the 6th to the 9th of July in Serbia’s Novi Sad. Some headliners performing at the event’s 2023 edition include Alesso, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy and Eric Prydz.
