Electronic music should be blasted anytime and everywhere – at least this is what DJ SUAT shows us. With his unusual approach to mixing, the UK-based artist is the definition of a roving rave.
From canoeing to running a London marathon, DJ SUAT brings his audio mixer to unthinkable settings. One of his recent success stories gathered half a million views on Instagram and saw the DJ parachuting and bringing bumpy beats 5000 feet above the ground.
But that’s far from being the only place where DJ SUAT created an impromptu dance party.
With no permission and the determination not to ask for it, the electronic artist brought his unique concept to university lectures, Ibiza pool parties, inside Wembley Stadium, and even the UK’s House of Parliament.
His behind-the-decks shenanigans broke the internet, gathering hundreds of thousands of likes and the music-loving community’s approval. In an interview with Beatportal, SUAT said his source of inspiration was artists doing bedroom sets. Through his offbeat approach, he wanted to make his content “more engaging and relatable.”
“I started doing live content, using the microphone, and DJing in relatable places to connect with music lovers on a deeper level.”
